hi everyone!
Longtime weightlifter here transitioning to para -triathlon due to joint and muscle issues. Getting my first racin chair in a few weeks, already swimming laps and leaning out.
I'm a single guy, live alone with my two cats and own my own home. I still walk for now but as my doc says, he can hear my joints popping and crackling down the hall. Finally last year he said flat out "you cant run anymore."
I did some searched, dicovered Disaboom and chatted with Mike and here I am.
Planning on my first 5 k this spring and maybe some sprints soon after wards.
